Skiing and Snowboarding in Idaho

Idaho is known for its potatoes, but it also has some great ski resorts. Whether you are looking for cross country skiing, snowboarding, a family ski resort, or a challenge, you can find it without a doubt in Idaho. Idaho has some of the best resorts that you can find and they have something to offer everyone, from the ordinary to the extraordinary.

For the family winter vacation, Lookout Pass Ski Area is a unique place to go. It’s one of the few places in the United States where you can have your choice of two states for one mountain. The resort is located right on the border of Idaho and Montana, meaning you can go up in the chair in Idaho and ski down in Montana.

When you go to Pebble Creek Ski Area, you will be skiing Mount Bonneville, the highest mountain in the Portneuf Range. Other ski resorts in Idaho are Bogus Basin, Brundage, Cottonwood Butte, Kelly Canyon, Pomerelle Mountain Resort, Schweitzer Mountain Resort, Sun Valley Idaho, and Silver Mountain, where you can see the world’s longest gondola.

So when you think of Idaho, just don’t think about those delicious potatoes that they grow there but think about the interesting ski resorts that it offers. Take your winter vacation to Idaho and see the world’s longest gondola or go up the mountain in Idaho and ski down in Montana. You will find something interesting and fascinating about the ski resorts here, and have fun while you are doing it.
